Advertiser verification assistance
When Google requires Advertiser Verification, the advertiser is expected to provide truthful information corresponding to the actual advertiser and business being promoted. Aquarius Infotech may assist clients with the process but does not fabricate, substitute or misrepresent advertiser identities.
Context
What advertiser verification asks
Advertising platforms operate verification programmes to establish who is behind an advertisement. In broad terms, the questions are: which legal entity or individual is the advertiser, is the account operated by or for that advertiser, and — where the programme asks it — who pays for the advertising.
Those are three different questions. Answering them accurately sometimes produces three different answers, and that is a legitimate outcome rather than a problem to be smoothed over.
The requirements belong to the platform
Verification programmes, the documents they accept, the regions they apply to and the outcomes they produce are defined and administered by the platform. This page describes how we assist a client within those requirements. It is not a statement of the platform's rules, and it does not replace the platform's own documentation.
Definitions
Five roles, defined separately
Most verification confusion comes from collapsing these into one another.
- Advertiser
- The business being promoted. The entity whose products, services or offer the advertising is for. Where a platform requires identification of the actual business being advertised, this is the answer.
- Advertising agency
- Aquarius Infotech, where engaged. A service provider authorised to operate the account on the advertiser's behalf. The agency is not the advertiser, and does not become the advertiser by managing the account.
- Payer
- Whoever settles the platform's charge for advertising inventory. The client under direct billing; Aquarius Infotech where an approved agency billing arrangement applies to that account. Being the payer confers no ownership of the advertiser's business.
- Business owner
- The party that legally owns the advertised business. Ownership sits with the client and is not affected by agency access or by who pays for the advertising.
- Website / app owner
- The party that owns or is authorised to control the destination. The domain, the website, the application and the store listing being advertised. Held by the client, or by a party the client is authorised to represent.
Where a verification workflow asks whether another organisation or individual pays for the advertiser's ads, that question is asking about payer identity. It is answered on its own terms, and the advertiser continues to be identified as the business actually being promoted.
The agency, identified
Our own registration details
Where a verification workflow asks who the agency is, or who the payer is under an approved agency billing arrangement, these are our details. They describe Aquarius Infotech only and are entirely separate from the client-owned advertiser information above.

Aquarius Infotech is the trade name of a proprietorship operated under the legal name Gopal Mansukhbhai Savaliya. Naming the proprietor as agency or as payer does not make that person the advertiser, and does not transfer any interest in the client's business.
Our role
What we do
Explain the request
Identify which verification programme has been triggered, what it is asking for and which of the five roles above each question relates to.
Map fields to your records
Help you identify which of your own business records correspond to each requested field, so the submission uses documents you already hold.
Complete workflow steps
Carry out the steps that fall within the account access you have granted, using information you have supplied and confirmed as accurate.
Disclose the payer relationship
Where a form asks who pays for the advertising and an approved agency billing arrangement applies, state that relationship accurately at your direction.
Track and relay
Monitor the submission and pass on the platform's response, including the stated reason where a submission is not accepted.
Advise on correction
Where something is genuinely wrong — an outdated address, a destination that does not match the business — identify it so it can be corrected at source.
Limits
What we do not do
These are absolute. They are not negotiable per engagement, and a request to do any of them is a reason to decline the work.
Never
- Create, alter, edit or supply documents on a client's behalf
- Submit our identity in place of an advertiser's identity
- Substitute one business for another in a verification submission
- Describe a business relationship differently from how it actually operates
- Advise a client to withhold information a platform has legitimately requested
And we do not promise
- That verification will be approved
- How long a review will take
- Any route that shortens, bypasses or overrides the process
- Reinstatement of an account affected by an enforcement decision
- That a platform's decision can be reversed by us
Aquarius Infotech does not create, alter or misrepresent documents for advertiser verification
Verification exists so that a platform can establish who is behind an advertisement. Assisting a client to navigate that process is legitimate; assisting a client to defeat it is not, and we do not do it. Where the honest answer to a verification question would cause a problem, the problem is the underlying arrangement, not the answer.
Process
How assistance runs
Request received
The platform notifies the account. We identify the programme, the deadline if one is stated, and what is being asked.
Review with the client
We go through each field with you, confirm which role it relates to, and agree what the truthful answer is.
Client supplies information
You provide the documents and business information from your own records. We do not source, produce or alter them.
Submission
The workflow is completed within the access granted, using exactly the information you supplied and confirmed.
Outcome
The platform's response is relayed in full. Where something needs correcting at source, we identify it; the decision remains the platform's.
Responsibilities
What the client is responsible for
Client
- Supplying accurate, current and authentic information relevant to the actual advertiser
- Holding rights to the products, services and destinations being advertised
- Maintaining legal ownership or authorised control of the websites and applications advertised
- Confirming that the business information submitted matches how the business actually operates
- Responding within any deadline the platform states
Aquarius Infotech
- Explaining the request accurately and without overstating what we can influence
- Completing only the steps within the access granted
- Disclosing the payer relationship accurately where the workflow asks for it
- Relaying the platform's response, including unfavourable outcomes, in full
- Declining any request that would require misrepresentation
Questions
Advertiser verification — frequently asked
Who is responsible for the information submitted in verification?
The advertiser. When Google requests documents or business information, clients are responsible for supplying accurate, current and authentic information relevant to the actual advertiser. We may help interpret what is being asked and identify which of the client's own records correspond to each field, but the information is the client's and must be true.
Will Aquarius Infotech complete verification on our behalf?
We can complete workflow steps that fall within the account access you have granted, using information you have supplied and confirmed. We do not create, alter or supply documents on your behalf, and we do not submit our identity in place of yours.
A form asks who pays for the advertising. What is the correct answer?
The truthful one. If the client pays Google directly, the client is the payer. If an approved agency billing arrangement applies to that account and Aquarius Infotech settles the media charge, then another organisation pays for the advertiser's ads and that should be stated as such. Payer identity is disclosed separately from advertiser identity, and neither is used to obscure the other.
Can you guarantee verification will be approved?
No. Verification outcomes and timelines are determined by Google. We do not promise approval, predict how long a review will take, or offer any route that bypasses the process.
What happens if verification is refused?
We help you understand the stated reason, identify what is within your control to correct, and resubmit through the channels the platform provides where resubmission is available. If the underlying issue is that the advertising does not accurately represent the business, the correct response is to fix that rather than to re-present it differently.
